This policy explains what personal information we collect through trusted-voice.com, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the Trusted Voice Method and to talk to you.
Who we are
The site and the Trusted Voice Method are run by ZaVi Studio Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales, trading as The Trusted Voice Method. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us any time at kate@trusted-voice.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign up for the free Tone of Voice Builder or join the plugin waitlist.
- Details you give us when you book a call, buy a product, or email us, such as your name and anything you choose to share.
- Basic technical data your browser sends automatically (such as device type and general location) and, if we use privacy-friendly analytics, aggregate figures about how the site is used. We do not use this to identify you personally.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and the free tone-of-voice session runs inside your own AI account, so the writing and answers you share there do not come back to us.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
- To send you the free Tone of Voice Builder and occasional related emails, and to keep you posted on the plugin if you joined the waitlist, on the basis of your consent (which you can withdraw at any time).
- To deliver anything you buy and provide the service you booked, on the basis of performing our contract with you.
- To answer your messages, keep proper business records, and improve the site, on the basis of our legitimate interests in running and improving the business.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, only to provide these services:
- Kit (email marketing and delivery)
- Netlify (website hosting and form capture)
- Gumroad and Stripe (payments and product delivery)
- Calendly (booking calls)
- An analytics provider, if enabled (chosen for privacy)
Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the appropriate safeguards (such as UK-approved data transfer terms) to protect your information. We never sell your data, and we only share it where the law allows or requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you want to hear from us or while we have an ongoing relationship, and after that only as long as needed for our legal and accounting obligations. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we act on it promptly.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data, correct it, ask us to delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email kate@trusted-voice.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Cookies and marketing
We keep cookies to a minimum. Any analytics we use are chosen to be privacy-friendly and do not track you across the web. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and one click stops them for good.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
